Video encoding

Video encoding for live events is very easy. Any modern PC is capable of encoding a broadband video stream. Dependent upon the input from the camera, you will require a firewire input or for an analogue signal a capture card. To produce a Windows Media Stream you can download Windows Media Encoder free of charge from Microsoft's website. For webcasts in Real format, you will need Real Producer, the basic version is free of charge, or Professional can be purchased relatively cheaply.
