Live broadcasting
The Poweredge 1750 is a 1U server is ideal for frequent live webcasts
for up to a couple of hundred broadband connections. For larger webcasts,
multiple machines can be linked together and the stream distributed amongst
them. A typical configuration would include:
- 2.8Ghz Intel Xeon with Hyperthreading
- 1 GB DDR Ram
- 2x 36 Gb 15,000 rpm SCSI H/D
- Dual Gigabit NIC and power supply.

Mixed use servers
The Poweredge 2650 merges the best of both worlds. Whilst ideal for live
webcasts with audiences up to a couple of hundred broadband users, it
also has the capacity to archive plenty of video content for on-demand
playback.

Archived content
The Poweredge 6650 is ideal for archiving large amounts of video content.
A standard configuration allows for further addition of hard drives and
storage space when required as well as upgrades in Ram and processors
as your usage levels increase.
