The Poweredge 1750 is a 1U server is ideal for frequent live webcasts for up to a couple of hundred broadband connections. For larger webcasts, multiple machines can be linked together and the stream distributed amongst them. A typical configuration would include:

  • 2.8Ghz Intel Xeon with Hyperthreading
  • 1 GB DDR Ram
  • 2x 36 Gb 15,000 rpm SCSI H/D
  • Dual Gigabit NIC and power supply.
